QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
ATA Freight is an U.S. based global logistics provider with its own offices in USA, INDIA,TURKEY, CHINA, MEXICO and RUSSIA. ATA Freight has evolved from a traditional international freight forwarder to one of the leading global providers of innovative and fully integrated supply chain solutions. We are a certified NVOCC, one of the first members of C-TPAT, as well as IATA and FIATA members.
We are now looking for a Global IT Manager who will be responsible for the following:
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer engineering or similar technical field of study,
- 10+ years of IT experience in a multi-cultural environment (minimum 2 years of experience in a management role) with demonstrated track record of success,
- Excellent command of both written and spoken English,
- Effective organizational, planning and time management skills,
- Excellent communicator, ambitious and proactive,
- Able to work independently whilst contributing to the priorities of the team and the business,
- Strong commitment to continuous learning and development,
- ERP, CRM (preferably Oracle), Enterprise Information Systems, Microsoft Office 365, Azure Services, Oracle Cloud Services (preferably), Network Management, Database Management Systems, System Management, Eloqua,
- Understands expectations and demonstrates personal accountability for keeping performance on track,
- Assumes personal responsibility for achieving results and supports the team by taking on additional responsibilities when needed,
- No travel restrictions,
- No military obligation for male candidates.
Job Description:
- Managing risks regarding the security of information systems in all Ata Freight country offices,
- Monitoring the security and activities of the system rooms,
- Setting up all network and server infrastructure systems and keeping them running continuously,
- Setting up and managing information and network systems,
- Managing the database system backup process,
- Managing the IT support teams in all ATA Country offices,
- Providing effective and timely information systems support services,
- Providing the maintenance support of information technology equipment in a timely manner and at the desired quality.
