We seek for “ Strategic Buyer ” who will be able to demonstrate knowledge at Hitachi Energy at Grid Integration in Dudullu location in Istanbul with the below qualifications;

Your background

  • University degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or Business Management.
  • More than 5 years of experience in Supply Chain Management preferably in Transformer Substations, High Voltage Systems, HV products.
  • Results orientated with the ability to plan and deliver against project deadlines.
  • Analytical mind with strong planning and self-learning skills, teamwork-oriented.
  • Very good command of written and spoken English and Turkish.
  • Completed military service for male applicants.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, interpersonal and influencing skills.
  • Flexible in work hours if demanded by projects.

Your responsibilities

  • Purchase goods, materials, components, or services in line with specified cost, quality, and delivery targets.
  • Making cost-effective negotiations with current/candidate suppliers and preparing the results in accordance with company procedures, utilizing the Strategic Sourcing Process tools, templates.
  • Initiates purchase orders (PO) in the system, according to the Purchase Requisitions and in alignment with standard procedures, and confirms the delivery with suppliers, monitors and tracks supplier performance to purchase order requirements.
  • Work closely with the project, bid, and proposal teams with the project’s needs and cost-effective purchase of goods and services.
  • Identifies new suppliers in cooperation with the relevant category team. Qualifies new suppliers in cooperation with Supplier Quality and Engineering responsible.
  • Tracks goods received to verify appropriate delivery and tracks and control supplier invoices and invoice payments in coordination with finance and controlling.
  • Oversees supplier performance, and resolves performance, price, quality, delivery, or invoice issues.
  • Management of procurement contracts.
  • Coordinates and monitors logistics both inbound/outbound and manages import operations.
  • Ability to perform a variety of specialized activities related to Logistics and Supply Chain management
