As a HR Legal Affairs and Operations Director, your will own the development, investigation, improvement and execution of people-related processes, systems, and policies. Reporting to the Head of People and Culture, you will partner closely with Business Partners, Recruitment, Learning and Development, People Analytics and other teams in People & Culture department, and also with Operation Success & Performance team and Legal Counsels in Finance & Accounting department.

You will drive the on- and offboarding experience of all Insiders in 25 different countries from Vietnam to UK and strengthen our values and culture through top-notch people practices.

As a HR Legal Affairs and Operations Director in Insider day in and day out

    • You will lead our People Operations team to ensure that each People and Culture process and procedure is compliant with labour law and internal policies. Your in-depth legal knowledge will be our guide. Your team will look at every step through the lens of labour law.
    • Working closely with Organization Success & Performance team, you will lead a broad range of administrative activities, including but not limited to labour contracts, private insurance, promotions, leaves, compensation and benefits, payrolls, etc.
    • Since we have offices all around the world, you will make sure that our People and Culture processes are compliant across different regions and legislations.
    • You will be the go-to person for our Business Partners to deal with edgy cases. We will trust you in handling sensitive issues that may arise. You will act as a consultant for BPs, Recruiters and also Organization Success & Performance team so that processes that may pose risk can proceed flawlessly.
    • You will build new strategies and workflows for optimizing administrative systems such as BambooHR to maximize efficiency, data accuracy and effective documentation. You will also implement any HRIS integration needed for our forecasted scale.

    • You will maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in People Operations and labour law.
    • Your team will be the first point of contact for all Insiders, third parties and executive team members on queries related to various topics such as labor law, insurances, C&B, and payroll. You will create and run an effective communication strategy in a clear, transparent and engaging way.
    • At Insider, all of us are working in a data-driven way. You will set and track your team’s monthly KPIs within our OKR framework. You will drive the overall success of your team by leading, inspiring and guiding them with your ongoing support, constructive feedback and monthly one-to-one meetings with each one of them.

We want you to join us while we are taking a step into the future if you have

    • 10+ years of experience in HR roles with a proven track record of building and optimizing processes, systems, and structures.
    • 5+ years experience in leading a team
    • Hands-on experience in performing and managing a wide range of fundamental people practices across team member relations, hiring, management practices, organizational effectiveness, compensation, and talent management
    • Working knowledge for people-related legal issues and ability to comprehend and apply labour laws, regulations, and policies
    • Excellent command of written and spoken English
    • A sharp eye for detail in every step you take and the ability to spot risks
    • Outstanding interpersonal skills to manage stakeholders at all levels of the organization including co-founders, CFO and country manager
    • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality (you need to handle sensitive information and manage complex decisions under pressure)
    • Passion for working in a dynamic, challenging and fast-paced environment
    • Data-driven mindset and analytical thinking skills
    • Strong focus on continuous improvement while managing multiple priorities and tasks
