QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
Nitto Otomotiv Sanayi ve Ticaret Limited Şirketi is a wholly owned subsidiary of Japan's listed leading diversified materials manufacturer Nitto.
We are looking for "Production Engineer" for our organization who will be reporting to Production Manager.
Task requirements:
- Preparing short, mid term and long term production plans of the responsible areas according to customer orders and demand forecast,
- Managing material supply processes according to actual / changing production needs (MRP knowledge is mandatory)
- Take part in capacity management and Continuous Improvement (Lean) activities,
- Preparing and distributing necessary scheduled reports for "Asakai"
- Managing material inventory at optimum stock levels (Responsibility for semi-finished products inventory and stock policy)
- Monitoring and responsible for business KPIs (OTIF etc.)
- Work in collaboration with other departments (Projects, CS, Quality ) in new model projects roll out time-schedule, cost reduction projects
- Using ERP system modules ( Production planning , sales demand , order management ) efficiently and effectively (SAP)
- Regularly check stock levels, planning and reporting actions to eliminate risks,
- To coordinate the necessary actions to speed up and report on idle or slow consumables or obsolete stock risks,
- Analyze daily results of needs of the production planning management in order to plan the activity on the machines according to Lean manufacturing approach : issue of production orders / label printing / emergency follow-up with Logistics / monitoring of the availability of machines/ stocks.
Requirements for the position:
- Bachelor of Industrial, Mechanical or relevant Engineering degree,
- Min. 3 years of experience required,
- Experience in Automotive sector at production, supply chain, logistics and / or production planning,
- Strong knowledge of MS Office applications,
- Excellent verbal and written skills in English,
- Knowledge on Lean principles , SHE and Kaizen philosophy,
- Clear in communicating thoughts and ideas,
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills,
- Analytical minded, result-oriented and open to change,
- Residency in Anatolian side of Istanbul,
- SAP knowledge is a plus.
