QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for Purchasing Operations Assistant Specialist who will be responsible for procurement and buying activities at Purchasing Department at our Kemerburgaz facility.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or equivalent,
- Minimum 1 years of relevant experience in buying, foreign trade functions preferably in chemical industry,
- Good command of MS Office programs,
- Good command of English is required both verbal and written,
- Good at problem-solving skills,
- Team working and customer-oriented mindset,
- Strong attention to details, good follow-up skills,
Responsibilities
- Being responsible for the operational purchasing of raw materials, and directly supporting the local team of buyers,
- Generating POs in the system and tracking of those orders until the stock entries and systematic invoice entries are completed,
- Deal with supplier issues in a professional manner to ensure excellent working relationships,
- Following through orders from start to delivery onsite, keeping internal customers updated on issues and delivery status,
- Maintaining an accurate and up to date supplier database,
