JOB Description
We are a corporate company that has been providing solutions to its customers in power electronics, especially UPS, for more than 40 years.
We are looking for a Technical Support Engineer to provide enterprise-level assistance to our customers. You will diagnose and troubleshoot software and hardware problems and help our customers install applications, programs and firmware updates.
Technical Support Engineer responsibilities include resolving hardware, software and network issues, configuring using remote desktop connections to provide immediate support.
You will use email and chat applications to give clients quick answers to simple issues. For more complex problems that require nuanced instruction, you will contact clients via phone and/or provide clear, written instructions and technical manuals.
To be qualified for this role, you should hold ability in relevant fields, like UPS, Power Electronics, IT or Software Engineering. To be assist foreigner customers, you should written and spoken English well (Russian/Arabic is a plus). If you’re naturally a helper, enjoy assisting people with issues and are able to explain technical details simply, we’d like to meet you.
Ultimately, you will be a person our customers trust. They will rely on you to provide timely and accurate solutions to their technical problems.
Technical Support Engineer Responsibilities
- Responding to technical support tickets.
- Contacting clients to find out the root of the technical hardware, software issue.
- Linking to clients' computers via remote access.
- If required traveling to clients' office or location.
- Installing new hardware, software, and networking systems.
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting hardware, software, and networking issues.
- Proposing simple and effective solutions.
- Providing Technical Trainings to User and Service Personnel
- Maintaining good client relations.
- Completing job reports.
Technical Support Engineer Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electric/Electronic Engineer or related engineering programs.
- Previous work experience as a Technical Support Engineer or Power Electronics. (at least 1 year is preffered)
- Very well English speaking and writing. Preferably in addition to russian or arabic.
- Able to Microsoft Office Programs.
- Driver Licience (B Class)
- Completed military service for male candidates.
- In-depth knowledge of hardware and networking systems.
- Knowledge of remote access systems such as Anydesk/TeamViewer.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex software and hardware issues.
- Knowledge of integrated management systems (ISO).
- Excellent communication skills.
- Can think analytically.
- Good interpersonal skills.
