QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
Wyser is an international search & selection company present in 3-continents.
We are looking for a "Product Specialist" (in industrial technology business unit) for our client, who is a global industrial group of companies.
The role of Product Specialist involves being a bridge of communication between Turkey and Headquarter for new products, quality problems, new technologies and customers' special demands.
Main Responsibilities
- Proactively helping to resolve customers' technical product issues or hot topics,
- Being the technical expert for product support activities and competence development,
- Identifying new product development or enhancements while solving problems and contribute to create innovative solutions and new opportunities to meet customers' needs,
- Regularly sharing latest information about products under responsibility with Sales & Service & Project,
- Checking and confirming that the scope is correct for new products and getting support from HQ for scope confirmation when needed,
- Making necessary investigations in the field and solving the problem with service, if there is quality problem with the product and the problem can not be solved after completing the necessary actions by service,
- Performing technical trainings; video & presentations through webinars,
- Keeping technical competence mapping of team updated and organizing trainings accordingly to support sales team for demo & WTL activities, being responsible and driving sales team,
- Organizing and executing activities such as excellence center, customer day, product launch, productivity academy,
- Making market analysis, competitor analysis, analysis of value-creating aspects of products and sharing with Sales & Service & Project,
- Serving as a source for all kinds of technical information about related products, applications and solutions,
- Driving and coordinating whole process, providing every assistance in product selection and application methods about related product range for implementation in Turkey Excellence Center,
- Making the required product and news updates regarding the department on the local website,
- Supporting and acting together with cross functions in customer communication.
Experience
- +2/3 years working experiences in an industrial environment with B.Sc. degree in Mechatronic or Mechanical Engineering,
- Good command of English both in speaking & writing,
- Know-how in pneumatic, mechanical, electric and electronic components,
- Extensive knowledge of manufacturing, production methods and industry trends; knowledge of automotive industry will be a plus,
- Automation and software application knowledge will be an asset (Microsoft SQL/Oracle, Communication Protocols TCP/IP, Fieldbus),
