Koç University will be hiring an Administrative Assistant for the English Language Center (ELC) with the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in related fields
- Excellent command of written and spoken English
- Strong knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications
- Experience in a similar position, preferably in a multi-national environment
- Strong organizational skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills

Job Description
- Managing the calendar of the Director
- Preparing calendars, course/instructor schedules, extracurricular/tutorial schedules and class lists
- Managing correspondences with faculty, students, staff, and all levels of administration
- Handling students administrative and academic needs and affairs
- Collaborating with all relevant university units and departments for all student, faculty and program related issues
- Assisting in recruitment processes as required, including publishing job ads, collecting applications, corresponding with applicants, organizing interviews, dealing with documentation and all other relevant aspects of recruitment
- Providing administrative support for new staff during their recruitment and adaptation process
- Providing support by preparing reports, archiving documents, updating databases and the ELC website
- Processing departmental requisitions, travel/training requests and arrangements, ordering books and materials, and dealing with any other day-to-day operating needs of the unit
- Assisting in the budgeting process by handling expense claims, preparing reports, and carrying out other finance related tasks as required
- Organizing meetings, preparing the meeting agenda, taking the minutes, and sharing them with relevant parties
- Performing other relevant duties as required
