QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced
Director of Sales & Marketing to join our team
- Ideal candidate must have minimum 5 years of experience in the same position in a luxury environment, possess a positive attitude and strive to keep quailty consistently high.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing , Hotel Management or related major.
- Great command of verbal and written language in English .
- Minimum 10 to 15 years of experince in relevant Sales & Marketing Department.
- Knowledge of accounting principles, budgeting, P&L statements, forecasting practices and reporting of financial data.
- Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic sales planning, resource allocation, inventory control and coordination of people and resources.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to lead, motivate and develop a team of individuals and be a part of it.
- Focused on guest satisfaction and is visible in operation, can promote good public relations and handle complaints, concerns or special request.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Manages the property's reactive and proactive sales efforts.
- Manages department goals and budget
- Provides customer intelligence in evaluating the market and economic trends that may lead to changes in sales strategy to meet or exceed customer expectations.
- Researches competitors sales team strategies to identify ways to grow occupancy and RevPAR and increase market share.
- Executes and supports Marriotts Customer Service Standards and hotels Brand Standards.
- Creates effective structures, processes, jobs and performance management systems are in place.
