QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
Material Flow Engineer will perform activities in an environment of continuous improvement, within Supply Chain & Logistics Department.
Definition & Responsibilities:
- Close monitoring of Upstream Supply Chain performance metrics. Make sure early warning signals are captured for underperforming vendors.
- Analyses of Supply Chain processes of selected suppliers belonging to multiple manufacturing disciplines. Identify improvement areas to adapt suppliers to Schneider Electric’s growing performance requirements. Launch and follow projects to serve this purpose, making sure projects are closed successfully within a defined schedule.
- Analyses of material management processes within SAP MM module. Make sure materials are managed effectively according to Schneider Electric standards.
- Identifying root causes of order delays and taking necessary actions to kill these root causes.
- Is responsible for the supplier forecast and their accuracy
Requirements:
- BSc degree in Engineering, preferably in Industrial Engineering
- Fluent English level
- Good experience in Lean Supply Chain and Lean Production concepts and tools.
- Strong drive to challenge the business for continuous improvement.
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Steady passion for personal development.
- Strong ERP systems knowledge, hands-on experience specifically in SAP® MM (Material Management) module.
- Excellent MS Office skills
