Title: OTC Specialist

Location: Ataşehir

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in Customer Services, Supply Chain experience is an asset
  • Experience in SAP and MS Office Applications
  • Fluent in English, German is an asset
  • Strong interpersonal/organizational skills
  • Ability and willingness to work in a team
  • Demonstrate Customer Focus: Act to deliver customer value while achieving profit table business results
  • Collaborate for achievement: Seek and act upon value-adding opportunities for collaboration within and across units

Job Description:

Core tasks:

  • Adherence to and compliance with all BASF guidelines and procedures.
  • Take full ownership/responsibility and ensure that all back-office processes from customer order receipt to payment receipt.
  • Ensure a customer focused business environment, taking BASF’s business interests into account.
  • Customer contact person.
  • Keep confidential information secret and protected against unauthorized access by third parties.

Strategic and Operational Responsibilities:

  • Order processing of all transaction type orders and order confirmations to customers.
  • Order Backlog Management.
  • Proactive order monitoring and keeping customers updated with regular information pertaining to orders and shipments.
  • Preparation and organization of any kind of necessary license and registration documents to have the orders released.
  • Follow up of the transport phases from the system and also with the local agencies of the carriers and keeping the customers updated.
  • Follow up of the documentation and managing the corrections if needed.
  • Posting of the docs to the customer or to the bank as per the payment term.
  • Process Non-Conformances (NCM) as agreed with the related Sales Departments.
  • Regular information exchange with Sales Departments.
  • Files all relevant documents.

General Responsibilities:

  • Communication with the customers / colleagues in order to maintain and sustain good relations.
  • Active representation of BASF’s interests.
  • Setting an example and communicating to corporate values and principles of the BASF Group.
  • Contribution to maintaining the long-term competitiveness of the BASF Group.
  • Actively participate in Monthly Sales Management Meetings
