KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Planning and executing onsite services for customers and system vendors
Hotline support for customers in the above-mentioned area
Planning and executing repairs in OMRON facilities (inhouse repairs)
Planning, organizing and executing seminars/trainings at an OMRON facility or at customer site
Preparing, continuing and extending service documentation
Possibly accruing hotline support and onsite services at the weekend
Preparing information for quotations about possible service performances and offers
Entering and follow-up data in the CRM system as well in all OMRON requested Systems / Software’s
Consulting customers concerning a service strategy
Reporting quality defects and problems (quality control, engineering)
Active registration in the CRM system and corresponding database maintenance of products installed at the customer
Supporting other locations in Europe, Middle-East or Africa (EMEA) when requested and needed
REQUIREMENTS
Completed apprenticeship in mechatronics/electronics
Further education as a technician or preferably Bachelor of Engineering in mechanics/mechatronics/electronics departments
Experience in maintenance and repair of industrial robots hardware mechanics and electronics
Know how in automation (PLC, Vision)
Know how in programming of robot systems
Preferably have process knowledge in one or more disciplines such as welding, material handling, paint, press automation, picking/packing/palletizing, applications
Good level of English is mandatory (spoken and written) and local language high skills
Good communication skills to be able to communicate with Global team
Able to travel frequently and has a valid driving license
