Position Purpose
Plan, direct, control, document, and execute multiple project management activities for CHEP Turkey.
Responsible for the management of a Projects portfolio and of project groups for internal customers to ensure timely delivery of high-quality services to meet the timelines and KPIs set.
Responsible for the implementation of new business wins for medium to large complex customer onboarding
Responsibilities
· Provide leadership to local CLT for achieving business goals through successful project implementation with regular progress updates
· Work with respective parties internally and externally to establish and obtain consensus on project goals, objectives and deliverables in order to develop the project strategy, supporting business case and high-level project plans
· Manage multiple complex cross-functional projects or groups with significant risk and business impact, simultaneously
· Manage project team, project scope, resources, project reporting, conduct team meetings, and proactively remove obstacles daily and communicate changes to the stakeholders and team members
· Assess the degree to which changes to scope, issues and risks will affect projects and gain agreement for resolution,
· Direct the activities of the project team, coordinating and driving the team’s efforts towards successful delivery of assigned projects,
Qualifications
Essential Qualifications:
Project Management
Finance or Accounting or Supply chain
Desirable Qualifications:
Project Management Professional
Degree in Finance or Accounting
Experience
· 5-7yrs business experience in an international organisation with diverse multi-cultural corporate culture and/ or pallet related industry work experience
· 2-3 years of Project management
· Demonstrated results-driven approach to project management
· Demonstrated successful management of projects related to process improvements and/or sales growth or customer implementation projects
· Experience in commercial analysis
· Compilation of Business cases and justifications
· Demonstrated strong problem solving and leadership skills
· Demonstrated managing conflict and negotiating commitments to achieve the end goal
Skills and Knowledge
· Extensive knowledge and expertise in the use of Projects portfolio management, methodologies, and tools,
· Excellent communication and leadership skills to provide direction, guidance, and delegation of tasks to teams and key customers on various projects, including project status.
· Assist in the investigation and resolution of problems; maintain team productivity on project goals and objectives •
· Excellent customer service skills
· Advanced MS Office skills, including MS Project and Visio etc.
· Ability to effectively collaborate and coordinate with the Client to obtain relevant information and develop project plans, including establishing project goals, objectives, and priorities
· Ability to identify tasks associated with the project and develop a project schedule, delineating constraints, prerequisites, staffing requirements, and timeline based on resource availability
· Ability to identify and coordinate project priorities and resources with appropriate management and obtain approval from various departments on project plans, schedule, and project requirements
· Ability to manage risk by identifying, quantifying, and monitoring potential threats to projects
· Knowledge of budget process with ability to reports on variances and control assigned projects to completion
· Knowledge of project standards and procedures to ensure compliance
