University and/or Masters degree in related fields
7+ years of professional experience in Category Management. Proven experience in E-Commerce is a must.
Experience managing business relationships with various stakeholders, negotiations and budgets.
A good communicator and team player who must be prepared to be hands on
Understanding of data analysis and forecasting methods and tools.
An analytical mind with a strategic ability and negotiation skills.
Experience working within marketplace or private shopping industries is desirable
English is a must.
Responsibilities
Reviewing and closely monitoring our e-commerce catalog performance, and implementing various action plans to optimize sales growth and contribute to bottom line profit
Analyzing a broad range of eCommerce data to generate insights on key trends and opportunities. Leverage benchmarking to identify underdeveloped segments or markets.
Working closely with various internal teams (Marketing, Planning, Merchandising) to implement growth strategies and to ensure product availability that meets consumer demand.
Ensuring products are live, assorted correctly and have all relevant content
Analyzing site metrics and related data to identify opportunities to improve merchandising and the customer experience across our product categories
Fostering trust relationships with marketplace partners to achieve better pricing and quality of operations, owning the negotiation process.
Liaise with marketing teams and external partners to maximize visibility of product categories and campaigns.
