QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
Engineering associated with the manufacturing process. Impacts quality of own work and the work of others on the team. Executes standard operational/technical tasks typically subject to instructions and work routines. There is latitude to rearrange the sequence to complete task/duties based on changing work situations.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- EHS Risk Score Reduction
- Defect Reduction. Defect related Production stoppage analysis and reduction
- Waste Elimination
- Collaboration with support department engineers
- Team member of Engineering change implementations
- Provides Standardized Work compliance & Conduct regular audits
- Equipment and machinery improvements with maintenance
- A job at this level is likely to be an individual contributor with proven interpersonal skills or an early people leader who can hire and develop talent. Provides informal guidance to new team members
- Basic understanding of key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work. Good understanding of how work of own team integrates with other teams and contributes to the area.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor Degree from technical divisions of university
- Min. 3 years experience of lean manufacturing principles
- Shopfloor management experience
- Excellent command of written and spoken English
- Good analytical, problem solving and planning skills
- Experience of managing projects and work independently in fast-paced environment
