QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

Franklin Electric, one of the leading manufacturers of international water and fueling systems, is looking for an HR Manager. The position will be based at Impo Motor Pompa San. Tic. A.S. Izmir site, which is the leader of the Turkish submersible pump industry.

The Human Resources Manager is a key contributor on the Franklin Electric Global Human Resources leadership team including process development/implementation, coordinating best practices, and representing regional business partner needs in strategic planning. This role manages and coordinates the site’s human resource function through recruitment, training, labor relations, payroll, compensation and benefit, and employee relations to meet company’s business requirements. This leader is also responsible for implementing human resource policies, programs, and practices in accordance with the Franklin Electric framework and policy.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, or a related field (required),
  • 5+ years' experience in technical and functional components of human resources (required),
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written),
  • Professional track in industrial organization in Turkey,
  • Deep knowledge of Turkish labor law and success in working with trade union,
  • Demonstrates a genuine interest in the business, being proactive, taking ownership and driving cooperation,
  • Creates a climate where people are motivated to do their best to help the organization achieve its objectives,
  • Knows the most effective and efficient processes to get things done, with a focus on continuous improvement,
  • Manages the staffing challenges associated with a growing site organization, including developing a competitive edge for hiring and retention,
  • Understands relevant laws affecting human resources and payroll,
  • Uses knowledge and skills to guide and train others on achieving full compliance with rules and regulations,
  • Effectively communicates information and responds to questions in person-to-person and small group situations,
  • Maintains confidentiality and uses discretion with business and personal information,
  • Holds self and other accountable to meet commitments,
  • Handles conflict situation effectively and seeks out of a variety of opinions and options,
  • Provides accurate work on a consistent basis,
  • Completes some moderately repetitive tasks,

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Provides direction to the management team to ensure the effectives of the organization in achieving business objectives,
  • Evaluates and monitor performance management and compensation/benefits practices,
  • Supports and enhances management capabilities to lead effectively and facilitate employee engagement,
  • Provides direction and oversight to ensure adherence to company processes and policies, legal/statutory requirements,
  • Provides human resources advice and consultation to employees and management, to include coaching and counseling on performance management issues, conflict management, development opportunities and interpretation of employment policies and resolution,
  • Manages labor and industrial relations, provides advice, and counsels on labor issues,
  • Stays current on recent law changes and monitors labor law updates for changes that affect human resources,
  • Proposes and develop personnel policies in accordance with the local leadership and regional human resources leadership team,
  • Conducts needs assessments, develops training curriculum, and conducts training sessions on various human resource topics,
  • Performs other related duties as required or assigned.
