Our client is a leading group with its diversified companies in Turkish business community more than 70 years. The Holding companies are manufacturing and marketing finished and semi-finished products for several different industries mainly food, chemical, marine, technical textile, fastener, farming, insurance, service, real estate & construction.
For their food company, which is the first producer of a specific halal product, we are looking for a “Sales Manager" who has experience in sales, foreign trade and will develop business in MENA region as well as take care of the existing customers. He/she will directly report to General Manager and have relationship with German joint-venture Company.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Business and market analysis, identifying potential customers and cooperation partners
- Business development and account management (Sales)
- Management of selected Key Accounts
- Leading distribution partners to successfully develop and grow existing and new businesses
- Support relevant product activities driving innovation of Halal products
- Continuously develop our market intelligence around Halal markets and applications in MENA
- Organization of local trade shows / conferences / customer events
- Regular reporting on relevant business figures and forecasts
- Contribute to development and implementation of global Halal strategy
- Management of regulatory hurdles in specific areas (e.g., export & import, specification standards)
REQUIREMENTS:
- University degree in International Business, Business Administration, Food Technology or Applied Engineering
- Minimum of 5 years relevant work experience with a multinational company in the protein, or food or chemical ingredients industry
- Proven proactive sales and business development track record
- B2B experience in the food or specialty chemical industry
- Passionate self-starter that actively drives to identify opportunities
- Strong organization skills
- Ambitious entrepreneurial approach to the task at hand
- Excellent international communication skills
- High problem-solving abilities
- Team player, pragmatic, positive attitude
- Willing to regular travel in the region
- Fluent in English
