QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

Service Engineer

Gram Equipment is currently hiring Service Engineers for our growing organization in Aegean Free Zone, GAZIEMIR – İzmir.In this position you will have the opportunity to travel globally in order to commission and service first class ice cream equipment.This role is based in Turkey and will report to the Head of Global Installation & Servicebased in Kolding, Denmark.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Automation and Mechanical Engineering AND/OR a background as Automatic Control Technician/ Electrician/Mechanic
  • High level of spoken and written English
  • Min. 5 years of practical experience with hands-on skills (preferably on-site experience)
  • Experienced in PLC programming, HMI and electrical design and pneumatic systems
  • Experienced in food handling equipment possibly in installation, commissioning and/or maintenance
  • Able to work under pressure and solve issues independently
  • Resourceful and creative in developing solutions to on-site problems
  • Willing to work overtime and flexible hours on customer’s site
  • Responsive to customer needs and ability to maintain positive customer relationships
  • Strong organizational skills and proactive approach
  • Good level of interpersonal and communication skills

Tasks


  • Equipment installation and commissioning (worldwide) setup / start-up
  • Repairs, service and commissioning of ice cream equipment all around the world
  • Maintenance and fault detection on highly automated equipment
  • Technical support of the customer on-site
  • Performing all scheduled maintenances / Inspections and preparation of service reports
  • Deliver service products and support to our customers to maximize their system performance
  • Interface with customers to establish and maintain a continuous positive relationship as well as follow-up with customers concerns and problems
  • Maintain and administer customer files and reports
  • Commissioning projects at the customer and able to carry out customer trainings
  • Able to travel globally and extensively (~min 200 days/year).
