QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

Position Purpose

Managing and growing online retail sales through marketing, merchandising, and promotional techniques for all online properties. Developing, implementing and regularly maintaining our e-commerce initiatives. This includes in particular localizing the website, identifying, evaluating, ongoing improvements and optimizing our website. Monitor other online platforms ; working with the international and local team, to maximize the potential of our website.

Need an E-com Manager who has experienced both corporate websites and other online platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of Corporate Website by setting & executing local E-Commerce and online Brand Marketing strategy against defined objectives set by Brand Manager and aligned with global objectives,
  • Daily operations follow-up with Customer service team / Sales Administration organization: New incoming orders, payment and fraud prevention procedures, shipments follow-up, returns, customers enquiries and complaints, after sales requests,
  • The person will establish Swatch Turkey corporate e-com platform in coordination with the local Swatch project team and Swatch HQ teams,
  • Daily operations follow-up with our third-party business partner , monitor all online sales, stock management, logistics and customer service processes in coordination with our third-party solution provider,
  • Enable high service standards to maximize customer experience,
  • Design and implement ecommerce sales & marketing plan in coordination with Swatch HQ and the local marketing team,
  • Oversee, manage and ensure constant updates & improvements of on-site merchandise taking into account frequent new collection launches, local stock availability, pricing changes and sell-out performance,
  • Initiate & drive actions based on website analytics & sales performance data and produce actionable KPI reporting,
  • Develop & monitor local E-commerce activations for key sales events and ensure local adaptation of global activations (e.g. Mother’s Day, Valentines, etc.),
  • Ensure stock availability by working closely with sales planning,
  • Work collaboratively with the entire ecommerce team in Switzerland,
  • Input and shipment flow of all orders with warehouse in an overseeing capacity. Further developing and improving logistic processes based on E-commerce customer requirements in close collaboration with local logistics & HQ (packaging, shipment services, etc.),
  • Monitor & drive E-commerce activities to maximize new customer acquisition efforts, strengthen overall retention rates, increase operating efficiencies, and favorably impact customer's lifetime value by providing input on all aspects of internet advertising, content site management, online communication, and promotional activities for all business ventures,
  • Identify & escalate bottlenecks in online customer journey, share ideas on website improvements & backend processes with HQ (logistics/payments),
  • Drive and support new initiatives defined on working towards Omni-channel experience and possible marketplace and/or online wholesale expansion.

Requirements

Ability to employ tactics and strategies to drive E-commerce revenue through website optimization, email marketing, search engine/pay-per-click campaigns & social media advertising. Prior e-tail marketing experience is required.

  • Graduate level (IT, marketing, etc.),
  • Min. 5 years of online sales, marketing and merchandising experience preferably in a multinational environment,
  • Proven experience with CMS systems, familiar with Salesforce Commerce Cloud,
  • Experience in EDM tools and Google Analytics,
  • Good working knowledge of online environment - metrics, reporting, good working understanding of ecommerce principals,
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills,
  • Positive & energetic, hard-working, reliable, organized, conscientious and keen to take on more responsibility,
  • Self-motivated, proactive, problem-solving, team worker
  • Ability to prioritize effectively, manages multiple tasks, deal with pressure. Fluent in English.
