QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a ” Product Specialist ” for our client in İzmir with the qualifications below;
REQUIREMENTS
• Technical Diploma is required
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, engineering technology, marketing, or a related field (required) is an advantage.
• Three to five years of relevant experience in marketing, design, product development or a related field (required).
• For male candidates, military service must be completed
• Fluent in English (spoken and written)
• Writes routine reports and correspondence.
• Effectively communicates information and responds to questions in person-to-person and small group situations with vendors, internal and external customers, the general public, and other employees of the organization.
• Solves practical problems and deals with a variety of known variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
• Interprets a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram formats.
• Reads and understands documents such as policy manuals, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Utilizes common-sense understanding in order to carry out written, oral, or diagrammed instructions.
• Plans the time, method, manner, and/or performance sequence of own work; may also occasionally assist in planning work assignments performed by others within a limited area of operation.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Works with sales representatives and distributors to size products for specific applications, provide product specifications, and develop custom quotations.
• Works with internal and external customers to ensure that products work properly after installation/implementation. Assists internal customers with product information and external customers with application and pricing information.
• Assists the promotional programs and tradeshows have the best collateral in order to sell the product. Attends industry tradeshows.
• Responsible for Data Management - PIM (product information management), SKU rationalization
• Answers customer inquiries regarding product applications.
• Recommends improvements and additions to the existing product line.
• Assists in preparing catalogs, instruction manuals, and marketing/promotional literature.
• Collaborates with engineering, product supply, sales, and other departments to meet customers’ needs.
• Performs other related duties as required or assigned.
