• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (preferably Electrical & Electronics, Mechanical, Industrial or Management Engineering),
• Master’s Degree is a plus,
• Excellent command of written and verbal English (second language will be an asset),
• Experience of minimum 2-3 years in in Purchasing (Automotive OEM and Tier 1 experience),
• Knowledge of automotive quality management standards: VDA and IATF 16949 standards
• Knowledge in product costing and pricing, supplier performance monitoring and continuous improvement actions
• Competent in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Programmes,
• Preferably medium & advanced level of SAP knowledge,
• High negotiation, interpersonal and analytical thinking skills,
• Ability to work in coordination with related departments,
• Strong sense of responsibility,
• No travel restriction.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
• Purchasing materials with desired quality and specifications, and with the optimal cost from confirmed suppliers within the given time,
• According to needs of shared BOM; collecting offers from suppliers regarding feasibility, price and deadlines, and transfer to internal stakeholders,
• Conducting a project plan in order to ensure timely delivery of materials for new projects,
• Searcing for alternative suppliers,
• Conducting benchmark analysis for materials,
• Managing and improving relationships with suppliers,
• Conducting make or buy analysis,
• Preparing the supplier progress report and controlling the processes,
• Sign off the supplier agreement, tooling agreement, rejection policy, and project-specific agreements (if any) in line with Vestel’s requirement,
• To coordinate and avail the necessary documents and certificates (ISO, company registration certificate and other certificates) from suppliers during sample and serial production,
• Conducting cost down projects in order to lower total purchasing cost,
• Analyzing orders to interprete variabilities.
