QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for Supplier Quality Development & Performance Engineer for our Quality Team in Tuzla Plant. The position will be directly reporting to the Turkey Plant Controller.
Main role
- Apply Global procedures and standards, internally and with suppliers and to comply with the requirements of all Management Systems (IATF 16949, ISO 14001, ISO 27001, Q1 and other customer requirements)
- Validate supplier manufacturing processes and components initial samples
- Manage quality problems / Incidents generated by suppliers during the program development and serial production, validate the full 8D reports
- Deploy the necessary activities in your perimeter to reach defined KPI / objectives
- Manage dashboards to measure&monitor programs and quality performance for suppliers in charge
- Audit supplier premises after a quality claim, to validate the corrective actions and their efficiency and apply preventive approach at suppliers by conducting assessments/audits and shop floor activities
- Implement a quality control on critical components and with high risk suppliers
- Ensure the first level analysis to confirm a claim and determine the potential supplier responsibility on components
- Put in place the necessary containment activities to secure Varroc and customer production
- Collect the data to charge back all induced costs to suppliers following a quality claim with supplier responsibility
- Coordinate the tests to be performed on raw material and manage material certificates and apply IMDS records in database
Soft Skills:
- Minimum of 3 years of quality experience in automotive industry
- Minimum of 2-3 years of Supplier Quality Assurance experience
- Strong and proven audit experience(especially VDA)
- Knowledge about IATF 16949
- Problem solving and analytical skills
- Highly collaborative and able to work as a peer within a regional and global organization
- Problem solving methods & tools advanced knowledge, and logical skills
- Willing to constructively challenge existing setups
- Excellent communication skills in an international environment
- Flexibility in terms of travelling and handling problems (Hands on mentality).
- Strong communication skills to build bridges between different functional areas
- Microsoft, Outlook, ERP – good knowledge
