Recuitment Specialist (Sourcer)


Job Purpose:

The holder of this role will act as Sourcing expert.The aim is to deliver the best talent to Shell by matching external candidates to open positions. The Sourcer will also share expert labor market knowledge with Recruiters and Hiring managers to allow for informed resourcing decisions.

Responsibilities:

- Develop thorough business knowledge and understanding of role requirements

- Partner with the Recruiter to determine the best-fit sourcing strategy to attract active and latent talent candidates

- Source internal/external candidates based on open positions

- Pro-actively build external pipelines for high value skill pools

- Provide data on internal/external candidates to Recruiter and to Hiring Managers

- Share expert knowledge on effective attraction strategies and sourcing channels

- Fully utilize sourcing channels available i.e. LinkedIn, Job boards, referrals and Shell Talent Community and other advanced sourcing technologies and tools

- Responsible from all screening processes and interview scheduling

- Deliver results in line with Resourcing KPI’s

- Be a visible advocate of Diversity and Inclusion

- Act as a Shell Ambassador in the external market, engaging important networks and associations

Functional Competence

- Minimum 2 years of significant experience in Recruitment, demonstrated track record of delivering global Talent to a corporate environment.

- Preferably a knowledge of Energy industry as a background is a strong advantage

- Excellent command of English (both written and spoken)

- System Knowledge for Sourcing Tools and Channels

- In-depth knowledge of sourcing techniques and technologies.

- Able to understand advantages and disadvantages of different approaches and how to deploy these to best approach.

- Communication Skills - Excellent communication, clear oral and written English skills, effective questioning and active listening Organizational Skills

- Significant experience of working across multiple portfolios; well organised, good time management.

- Leadership Competences - Ability to work in a structured manner in a dynamic environment and sets stretch targets and goals for self and values and cares for quality of talent joining Shell and of candidates who interact with Shell and are likely Shell customers.

- Influencing Skills - Able to set clear goals for self and use data to improve performance, leverages all data metrics to inform and adjust sourcing activities. Proactive, takes initiative and effectively deals with challenges in collaboration with senior stakeholders and recruitment partners.

- Collaboration (Stakeholder Management, Business Partnering, Presentation Skills) - Relationship management; able to develop understanding of different stakeholder needs and build rapport with stakeholders overseas. Data analytics experience is a plus.
